Robredo supporters deploy pink lugaw trucks, create vinyl art in PC game on 'Kakampink' Wednesday
Would you like to hitch a ride on a Kakampink truck? The only catch is that you have to serve lugaw or rice porridge when you do.
Kakampinks in Cavite have mobilized two lugaw food trucks painted in Vice President Leni Robredo’s campaign color, pink.

The two food trucks even has a silhouette of the presidential aspirant’s image based on the artwork by Jeff Crisostomo, Dinagat Island’s public information office head who is a vocal supporter of Robredo.
The words “Leni Lugaw Simple at Malinis (clean)” are also written across the truck.
But it’s not only in Cavite that Robredo’s “kakampinks,” a combination of the words “kakampi (ally)” and “pink,” are leveling up their lugaw-serving initiative.
In Malabon, a group of volunteers and supporters have also painted a coaster bus in pink, completing it with the images of Robredo and her running mate, Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
The volunteers also served lugaw to tricycle drivers in the area.

Netizens are amazed at the creativity of the food trucks and coaster bus, with many of them asking how to rent the truck and bus or if they are making rounds in different provinces.
Robredo’s supporters have been serving pink lugaw, pink puto (steamed rice cake), pink taho, pink pandesal (bread), and pink empanada since she announced her candidacy on October 7.

The term lugaw has been used derogatorily against Robredo since 2016 when her volunteers sold rice porridge to raise funds for her vice presidential candidacy.
Since then, Robredo has embraced the insult, and was even seen serving the traditional Filipino comfort food on many occasions.
Meanwhile, it’s not only in real life that Robredo’s supporters can paint trucks and buses pink. A civil engineer creates vinyl art for the presidential aspirant inside the Forza Horizon game.

According to Anthony Borja, it was his goal to create vinyl art inside the famous street racing game.
“Last night, I watched some YouTube videos so I can recreate Jeff Crisostomo’s artwork inside the game,” Borja said in a tweet, referring to the public information office head of Dinagat Island.
Crisostomo reacted to Borja’s tweet with “Waaaaaah!!! Winneeeeer!!!”
Borja said he plans to create one for Pangilinan, too.
