Presidential candidate and Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso on Wednesday, Nov. 24, said he will not allow any member of his family to enter the world of politics.

In an interview with DZMM Teleradyo, Domagoso said he will not allow his family to run for any position.
"Modesty aside, hindi ko talaga sila pinapayagan (I don’t really allow them). For the past 20 years, walang kasaling anak ko o asawa ko sa gobyerno (my son or wife has not been involved in the government), whether by appointment or appointee or elected. Hindi talaga)," he said.
"Delikadesa, nahihiya . Kung gusto nila, pag tapos ko, wala na ako sa gobyerno. (Kung) Gusto nila, kumuha sila ng mandato sa tao (If they want, when I'm done, when I'm out of the government, (they should) get the mandate from the people)," he added.
The Manila mayor also said that he wants to see a new breed of leaders to lead the country.
"Nahihiya ako sa ibang tao (It's a shame). We don't have the monopoly of knowledge to govern," he said.
Should anyone of his family members decide to run in the future, Domagoso said he wants them to make their own name and choose their own field of undertaking.
"Kung ako ay naging mabuti o eh di aalalahanin naman siguro ng tao yung mga nagawa ko (If I was a good leader, then the people will probably remember me for that)."
