Mayor Isko says he's not Duterte's secret candidate

Presidential bet and Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso on Wednesday, Nov. 24, reiterated that he is not a secret candidate of President Duterte.

"Hindi po. Ngayon maliwanag na oh. Nagdeklara na si Pangulong Duterte recently. Ang kandidato niyang presidente ay si Sen. Bong Go, ang kandidato niyang vice president ay ang kanyang anak, si Mayor Sara Duterte (No, I am not. Now, it's clear. President Duterte recently declared that his presidential candidate is Sen. Bong Go, and his vice presidential candidate is his daughter, Mayor Sara Duterte)," he said in a DZMM Teleradyo interview.

"It's very clear na may kandidato sila. Hindi po ako kandidato ni Pangulong Duterte (It's very clear that they have their own candidate. I am not President Duterte's candidate)," he reiterated.

Domagoso, however, said that in case President Duterte is willing to help his candidacy, he will welcome it.

"Pero kung tutulungan ako ni Pangulong Duterte (If President Duterte will help me), thank you," he said.

"Alam niyo naman na kakailanganin ko na lahat ng tulong. In reality, i need a lot of help. Kung sino man ang tutulong (You know that I need all the help that I can get. Whoever will help), I'll be happy to receive it," he said.

Domagoso has repeatedly dismissed the rumor that he is Duterte's "secret candidate" and described those who are spreading this to be "high on drugs."
