K-drama ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ watched 258 million hours on Netflix


The Korean drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” starring Shin Min-a and Kim Seon-ho, has been watched on Netflix for more than 250 million hours.

“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” was released on Netflix and tvN on Aug. 28 and it has been on Netflix’s Global Top 10 non-English shows. The Global Top 10 is the weekly rankings of the “most watched TV and films” on Netflix.

From the weekly periods of Aug. 30 to Sept. 5 to Nov. 15-21, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” has been watched for a total of 258.52 million hours by subscribers on Netflix.

For the latest ranking of top 10 non-English shows on Netflix globally, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” was watched 13.15 million hours and ranked sixth.

Its highest hours viewed on Netflix came on the week from Oct. 11 to 17, when the Korean drama had its finale, wherein it was viewed 37.74 million hours to rank fourth in the top 10.

Its highest ranking is No. 2 among non-English shows for the period Sept. 20 to 26 when it garnered 23.36 million viewing hours.

According to Netflix, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” has been in the Global Top 10 rankings for 12 weeks.
