'Pinoy Big Brother' releases statement over alleged harassment involving celebrity housemates

"Pinoy Big Brother" has addressed the issue of alleged harassment among housemates.



During a recent episode of the reality show, PBB denied the allegations of "harassment" involving celebrities.



"Ang harassment ay isang bagay na hindi palalampasin ni Kuya kailanman lalo na't kung ito ay may patunay. Ngunit, mismong ang mga housemates na ang nagsabi na walang anuman na nagaganap na ganito sa loob ng bahay," said Toni Gonzaga, the show's host.



"Nawa'y mas maging mapanuri at responsable ang lahat sa social media at huwag manghusga lalo na kung hindi sapat at tama ang konteksto at impormasyon."



Note that "Kuya" talked to the housemates about it.



"Nitong mga nakaraang araw ay isang isyu patungkol sa ilang housemates ang naging trending topic online. Ito nga ay sa di umanong hindi magandang pakikitungo ni TJ sa kapwang housemate na si Shanaia.



"Matindi ang mga akusasyon na sinasabi ng online world kay TJ pero ano nga ba ang totoong saloobin ng mga housemates patungkol sa mga pangyayaring ito?



"Sa loob ng mahigit limang linggong pagsasama-sama ng mga celebrity housemates ay hindi maikakaila ang nabuo nilang samahan at pagiging natural na malapit sa isa’t isa.



"Si Kuya, minabuting kausapin nang hiwalay ang mga boys at mga girls."



In there, each housemate agreed that they put no malice in their sweet gestures towards each other; and that they just treat one another like family.



Though, beauty queen Samantha Bernardo reiterated that they still have to set "healthy boundaries."



"We have to find that sweet spot na parang sakto lang pero hindi mawawala yung love natin or affection sa isa't isa," comedian TJ Valderrama added.



Recently, netizens wanted comedian TJ to be “forced evicted” from “PBB” house for allegedly taking advantage of the 19-year-old singer, Shanaia Gomez.



Gabriela Women’s Party has reacted to the trending issue involving this year’s "PBB" edition.
