L3bron out of Bren Esports Season 9 roster

Popular streamer and influencer Raven “L3bron” Alonzo is out of Bren Esport’s Season 9 roster following his release on Monday, Nov. 22

L3bron, a former player-turned streamer and influencer, is now out of the pro league once again after coming back to the scene through Bren which signed him prior to the start of the Season 8.

“Being a pro-turned content creator, he showed us how innovative he can be and never failed to entertain all of us. It was a short run, but it was worth the while to have him on the roster,” said Bren in announcement.

“Thank you L3bron! We're looking forward to seeing your growth both in your career,” it added.

The release marked the end of a short and uneventful stay for L3bron who only played once during MPL Season 8. His lone appearance was in Bren’s non-bearing and controversial match against Blacklist International which drew flak from some of the MPL fans over Bren’s ‘no-ban strat’.

L3bron, who also played three seasons in the league with Aether Clan before embarking to a full-time streaming career, played second stringers to Bren’s M2 world championship line-up led by Karl “Karltzy” Nepomuceno.

The team however failed to live up to the billing as it crashed out of the playoffs for the first time since joining the pro-league back in Season 2. The crew finished seventh in the standings on a 5-9 win-loss record.
