Kylie Verzosa on Maxine Medina's comment on her doing sexy films
By Neil Ramos

Kylie Verzosa and Maxine Medina are both former beauty queens.
Kylie, 29, was Miss International 2016.
Maxine, 31, was Miss Universe-Philippines 2016.
They are now both making inroads as actresses.
While Kylie has been earning huge notice playing provocative roles in several popular films including her latest, “My Husband, My Lover,” Maxine has been content doing mostly minor roles on TV.
Recently, Maxine was asked if she is also willing to try on sexy roles like Kylie.
Maxine demurred, maintaining she’s too “conservative” for it.
“I’m not ready for those roles,” she stressed.
Not that she thinks Kylie is doing something wrong.
She was only too quick to say that what Kylie has been doing is “art.”
But when told about her comment, Kylie was sort of annoyed.
With a serious mien, she quipped: “I respect her decision and I wish her the best."
She didn’t add anything to garnish her words. She also didn’t smile.
Is there veiled animosity between the two?
Note that prior, Maxine and Kylie were involved in a public row working together on an ABS-CBN show with Maxine’s family accusing Kylie of going beyond the script, literally spitting on Maxine’s face while shooting a scene.
Kylie acknowledged the issue after it erupted on social media, going on to explain that she simply got carried away playing villain in that show.
The two quickly buried the hatchet in a subsequent press conference but now, the question is, have they really?
