The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is encouraging Filipinos, especially the medical, nursing and allied health professionals, teachers, professors, data professionals, students, and encoders to become part of the Bayanihan Bakunahan during the National COVID-19 Vaccination Days from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1.

The National COVID-19 Vaccination Days is an initiative of the government in hopes of ramping up the country's coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccination by increasing the number of vaccine doses being delivered nationwide.

The DICT said that volunteers will be assigned to any of the following roles: health screener, vaccinator, post-vaccination monitor, health educator, registration personnel, encoder, and data consolidator or tallier.

"Mag-register lamang sa link na ito: tinyurl.com/3fxytrjm o i-scan ang QR code (Just register using this link: tinyurl.com/3fxytrjm or scan the QR code)," said the DICT, as it encouraged the public to volunteer and participate.

The National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) will divide the volunteers’ roles into two: the Vaccination Team and the Data Management Team.

The Vaccination Team will be composed of the health screeners, vaccinators, post-vaccination monitors, and health educators, while the Data Management Team will be composed of encoders and talliers or data consolidators.

"Magtulungan tayo at maging bayani para sa kapwa nating Pilipino! (Let us help each other and be heroes for every Filipino!)," DICT added. (Charie Mae F. Abarca)
