QC gov't to start giving booster shots to health workers

Medical frontliners in Quezon City can get their COVID-19 booster shots starting Nov. 22, the local government announced on Friday, Nov 19.

The inoculation of booster shots will be held in different hospitals and vaccination sites in the city.

The schedule, venues, and process of the vaccinations are yet to be announced.

The health workers must present their vaccination cards for verification purposes, and only those who are fully vaccinated will be inoculated.

The Department of Health(DOH) approved the administration of COVID-19 booster shots to the medical frontliners in Oct. 2021.
