PRC reschedules licensure exam for dentists

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the rescheduling of the November and December Dentist Licensure Examination (DLE).

PRC said the examination's written phase will now be held from January 12 to 14, while the practical phase will be conducted from January 6 to 11.

The written examination was originally slated on Nov. 29 to 30 and Dec. 1 to 10 for the practical phase.

PRC Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo are designated as additional testing centers in the January 2022 DLE to cater to the number of examinees which the PRC-National Capital Region can no longer accommodate due to limitations in the venue, materials, and facilities.

Section 7 of Republic Act No. 8981 or the PRC Modernization Act of 2000 empowers the PRC to administer and conduct the licensure examinations of the various regulatory boards in accordance with the rules and regulations it may promulgate: to determine and fix the places and dates of examinations.
