Queen of All Media Kris Aquino shared that seasoned actress Angel Locsin was the one who sent her the controversial post of Herbert Bautista.
Recall that Herbert posted recently about him nursing a broken heart.
It read: “Mr. President Ping @iampinglacson, na-inspire din tuloy akong mag-propose. Kaso, sayang... may napili na po sya. (broken heart emojis).”
He also used the hashtags “#KungMaibabalikKoLang” and “#TOTGA” which is the abbreviation for “the one that got away.”

Many believe that Herbert was referring to the publicized engagement of Kris to her fiance, former Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Mel Sarmiento.

And Mel thinks so, too, releasing a statement:
“Although Mayor Herbert Bautista has already taken down his post which obviously referred to Kris, I just wish that this would serve as a reminder that talking about past flames in public is improper and ungentlemanlike."
According to him, Herbert, as a former public servant now seeking a seat in the Senate, should know better than dragging other people to get public attention.
“Hindi po showbiz ang Senado. People would appreciate it more if he would talk about his credentials to woo our people’s votes," he reiterated. “Mas magandang accomplishments niya bilang public servant ang ilahad niya sa publiko sa halip na ang mga nakalipas niyang karelasyon.”
Kris echoed the same sentiment, penning an open letter for the former Quezon City mayor.
“After 7 years of trying but not succeeding, siguro naman kilala mo na ang ugali ko. Kaya kong dumedma kung ako ang ginagamit o naaapakan BUT foul when it’s someone i love & value (in this instance my very soon to be husband na hindi ka naman ginulo o inagrabyado) then papalag ako. i totally agree with what he said especially because sa survey na nakita ko, within striking distance ka na sa Magic 12- so there’s no need to use our past to gain attention,” Kris said.
She then advised Herbert to simply “trust” that “your track record is more than enough to get you elected, and have enough faith in the wisdom of the Filipino voters.”
Herbert was quick to apologize, admitting the “loose remark unjustifiably hurt feelings.”
“It was certainly inappropriate and a mistake,” he acknowledged.
“My profuse apologies to Kris.”
In another post, Herbert reiterated his apology, directly addressing Kris: “Alam kong maaalagaan ka nya, and I can see that you’re happier now. Aminado ako, I know I have not been good enough.”
“Still regretting the chance I didn’t take. You deserve better. (expressionless face emoji).”
According to previous reports, Kris and Herbert made sweet music in 2014 starting when the actor-turned-politician asked for her phone number.
During their on-and-off relationship, the 53-year-old star proposed marriage to Kris twice, in 2014 and 2017 — which the 50-year-old TV host-turned-vlogger both declined.
Then a few months ago, Kris revealed that she finally put an end to her friendship with a special someone who netizens believe was Herbert.
