Fair weather with chances of rain showers, thunderstorms to prevail across PH

The northeast monsoon, locally called "amihan," and easterlies will be the dominant weather systems that may bring fair weather conditions across most parts of the country in the next 24 hours, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 21.
PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light monsoon rains may prevail over Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Abra, and Cagayan.
Likewise, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Although mostly fair weather conditions are seen to prevail, PAGASA still advised the public to stay vigilant as severe thunderstorms may sometimes trigger flooding or landslides.
Moreover, no gale warning is in effect over the country's seaboards as of Sunday afternoon.
Moderate to rough seas may prevail over northern, while slight to moderate seas will likely persist over the rest of the country.
As such, sea travel is safe even for fisherfolk and others with small sea vessels, PAGASA said.
