Bongbong Marcos' political experience makes him an ideal President—Sara Duterte

Vice presidential aspirant Sara Duterte-Carpio on Sunday said she believes that the political experience of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos will lead him to the Presidency in next year's national election.

"I confidently believe na 'yung mga karanasan niya bilang governor, congressman at senador 'yan ang tutulong sa kanya para magawa niya ang trabaho sa pagkapangulo ng Pilipinas (I confidently believe that his experience as governor, congressman and senator will help him do his job as the President of the Philippines)," said Duterte-Carpio when asked why she chose Marcos as her running mate for the 2022 May national elections.

The Davao City Mayor made the statement after joining the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer in attending the "caravan for peace, unity and progress" held in Carmen and Tagum City, Davao del Norte on Sunday, Nov. 21.

The simultaneous" BBM-Sara Uniteam" parade organized by their supporters was held in more than 30 cities and 15 provinces in the country.

Duterte-Carpio formally became the running mate of Marcos after the former lawmaker announced in a statement released to media Tuesday night, November 16, that they have sealed a partnership for next year’s election.

The Presidential daughter has also forged a partnership with Lakas-CMD which also endorsed her as its official vice-presidential candidate last November 13.
