Sara back to HNP as Chairman

DAVAO CITY - Mayor Sara Duterte took her oath as Chairman of the regional party Hugpong Ng Pagbabago (HNP).

"Muli po akong nanumpa bilang Chairman ng Hugpong ng Pagbabago, ang aking regional party (I took my oath again as Chairman of my regional party, Hugpong ng Pagbabago)," Duterte said.

Duterte said the oathtaking was led by Davao Occidental Gov. Claude Bautista.

Duterte the party also conducted the affirmation of oath of the governors in the region who are members of the HNP.

"Masaya po ako na makabalik sa aking mahal na HNP habang kasalukuyan na Chairman din ng Lakas CMD (I am happy to be back to my beloved HNP while I serve as the concurrent chairman of Lakas-CMD)," she said.
