Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson made a splash when he conducted a visit to Pagasa Island in the West Philippine Sea amid the controversy created by the reported water cannoning of Philippine boats on a supply mission to Ayungin Shoal by Chinese Coast Guard vessels.

Booster vaccination for departing overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) has been approved, even as the government also gave an assurance that there was enough supply of vaccines to cover booster shots.

Fuel prices are also set to go down anew this coming week.
