Kim Atienza on why breakups are trending these days

"Bakit kaya ang daming naghihiwalay?"

This is the question asked by GMA Public Affairs to Facebook followers recently.

Among those quick to offer an answer is new Kapuso TV host Kim Atienza.

He wrote: "Because many think that love is a feeling when it is actually a choice to stay...for better or worse."

According to him, it's a "day to day to day walk."

Note that for the past months, many celebrities have split.

Among these are controversial couple Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica.

Then there's LJ Reyes and Paolo Contis'.

Recently, social media darling Alodia Gosiengfiao also revealed her breakup with boyfriend vlogger Wil Dasovich.

Meanwhile, young actor Kiko Estrada parted ways with Devon Seron and Heaven Peralejo this year.

Axel Torres and AJ Raval also broke up earlier this year.

On the other hand, former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemates Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette surprised their fans calling it quits.

Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo also ended her romance with her boyfriend of seven years Neil Salvacion.
