Jeric Raval reiterates: 'Walang magulang na gusto ang anak niya ay parang kabit'

Action star Jeric Raval recently shared how being bashed over her involvement with Aljur Abrenica hit his 21-year-old daughter AJ Raval's mental health real hard.

In an episode of "Cristy Per Minute," the Viva artist extended his message to his daughter's bashers.

“Unang una, sana po maka move on na po tayong lahat. At as much as possible sana ayaw ko ng magsalita about this kaya lang pangit naman kung hindi ako magsasalita," he started.

“Sana po lahat ng bashers niya ay maka-move on na po. ‘Wag po natin masyadong personalin, unang-una hindi naman po (ninyo) siya (si AJ) kilala at kung may nakakakilala po sa anak ko, ako po ‘yun at sinisigurado ko po mabuting bata po ‘yan, mabait na bata," he added.

“At ako naman, eh, naiintindihan ko yung pamba-bash n’yo, siguro naiinip lang kayo ha, haha. Well again, salamat sa inyo."

According to Jeric, he actually discussed the issue with Aljur.

His new message for him: "Siyempre hindi ka na rin bata. Aljur, magpaka-lalaki ka na lang, tol. At wala naman akong masamang tinapay sayo. Gaya nung una nating napag-usapan, i-ayos mo muna yung buhay mo. I-ayos mo lahat. Kailangan nasa ayos lahat. Yan ang lagi kong uulit-ulitin sayo. Kung maayos lahat yan, wala ka ng problema sa akin."

According to Jeric, even he, himself, was not spared from the public's scrutiny.

“Pagdating kasi sa ganyan, magulang kaagad ang tinatanong ng tao. Ang dami na nga nangba-bash sa akin wala naman akong kinalaman diyan; at kung ganu’n daw ba pagpapalaki ko sa anak ko.

“Ang masasabi ko lang diyan, ang wish ko lang talaga, e, magkaayos ang pamilya ni Aljur at ang mga anak niya, mabuo ang pamilya niya.

“Ako wala akong masamang tinapay kay Aljur, although kababayan ko ‘yan pareho kaming Kapampangan. At kung siya’y talagang gusto niya ang anak ko, e, anong magagawa ko, hindi ko naman mabantayan yung anak ko 24 hours. Basta i-ayos lang nila ang lahat.

“Kasi kahit anong sabihin natin, kasal pa rin si Aljur at tsaka si Kylie. At walang magulang na gusto niya ang anak niya ay parang kabit. Walang magulang na ganu’n.”

Asked what he told AJ following the backlash, he shared: “Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘AJ anak, alam mo yan, dapat ‘yan anak, pag-ingatan n’yong mabuti kung magliligawan kayo kasi kahit ano pang sabihin natin ang paningin ng tao diyan, eh, baka isipin ikaw ay 3rd party although hindi ka naman 3rd party.' Nagpapasalamat naman kami at nagsalita naman si Aljur.”

Jeric added: “Apektado ‘yung anak ko, nakita ko, e, napaka-masiyahin ng batang ‘yun, eh. Playful pa rin ‘yun hanggang ngayon, naawa lang ako. Ako, okay lang ako ma-bash, lalaki naman ako, sanay ako sa ganyan. Wag lang ‘yung anak ko, iba pag anak ko naawa ako.”

Recall that AJ was being alleged as the third party that caused the end of Kylie and Aljur’s marriage.

The rumors surfaced after the sexy actress admitted that the 31-year-old hunk actor is courting her.
