The Filipinos will now face the still unbeaten Chinese team Da Kung Gaming in the semifinals although momentum was clearly on the side of TS which recorded its ninth straight game victory and its fourth straight sweep of its matches since dropping its opener against another Chinese squad ThunderTalk Gaming.

Team Secret was dominant in the three-game stretch as it also got the sweet revenge over SBTC – the team that beat them in the Grand Finals of the Wild Rift SEA championships

The game remained close in the first 10 minutes of the opening game before the Filipinos seized control after securing the major objectives.

The Filipinos then won the crucial team fights down the stretch – the first one when TS took down three SBTC players in a fight for the Infernal Dragon at the 14-minute mark and another one when the all-Filipino executed three champions from SBTC in a clash for the Baron Nashor at the 17-minute mark of the game.

TS drew first blood in the series with a 16-8 domination in Game 1.

The Filipino dominance continued in Game 2 behind Heri “Tatsurii” Garcia’s 9-2-7 performance on the Zed to lead TS to a 21-7 Game 2 triumph.

TS once again dominated SBTC in the team fights as it scored an ace against SBTC in a fight at the 11-minute mark to take full control in Game 2, before notching another five-man wipe in the final clash to secure the win.

TS showed no let up in the series clincher with Robert “Trebor” Mansilungan and Eleazar “Azar” Salle putting on the finishing touches in Game 4.

TS quickly snowballed courtesy of a fiery start as the Filipinos held an early 11-3 kill advantage inside the first five minutes of the game courtesy of Trebol who got four early kills on the Jarvan IV and Azar who scored a quadrakill on the Darius in a clash for the Dragon at the four-minute mark of the game.

A well-fed Jarvan and Darius proved to be too much for TS’ former tormentors as Azar and Trebor finished with spotless score lines of 8-0-4 and 7-0-10 respectively to cap the three-game onslaught.
