PH honors vax certificates of Austria, Kazakhstan, Singapore, and UAE

The government's pandemic task force has approved the recommendation for the country to recognize the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination certificates of four more countries, acting spokesman Cabinet Secretary Karo Nograles announced.

Nograles made the announcement as the Inter-agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases approved new testing and quarantine protocols for inbound international travelers which will take effect on November 22.

In his press briefing on Friday, November 19, the IATF spokesman said that upon the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the country now recognizes the vaccination certificates of the following countries:

Austria
Kazakhstan
Singapore
United Arab Emirates

Nograles said the vaccination certificates of the said countries will be accepted or recognized for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols as well as for interzonal/intrazonal movement.

Meanwhile, the Bureau of Quarantine, the Department of Transportation - One-Stop-Shop, and the Bureau of Immigration are directed to recognize only the proofs of vaccination thus approved by the IATF.
