Pasay City's senior citizens whose birthdays fall in October get cash gifts

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto- Rubiano distributed on Thursday, Nov. 18, cash gifts to 328 senior citizens who celebrated their birthdays in October.

Rubiano said the 328 senior citizens received financial assistance amounting to P1,500 each.

She said the October birthday celebrants from Barangays 57 and 155 were the first batch to receive their cash gifts. The distribution will continue with the other barangays.

The mayor said the distribution of cash gifts to senior citizens was conducted at the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA).

Rubiano said giving cash gifts to senior citizens is part of her HELP (Health care and housing, Economic growth and environment, Livelihood and lifestyle, Peace and order, Pamilya (family) and Palengke (market) agenda.

She also said the P1,500 cash gift will help the seniors especially in buying their maintenance medicine.
