A beneficiary of the Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) E-Konsulta program has created dress-me-up dolls dubbed "Robredolls" to express his gratitude for presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo.

Sporting Robredo's pink and blue colored outfits, the “Robredolls” were created by ABS-CBN production designer Myke Francis, who is a beneficiary of the E-Konsulta program. It was crafted from the illustration of Robert Alejandro.

The Vice President was seen unboxing the gift in a video posted by writer Noel Ferrer. “So creative. Thank you," she said, praising the craft in the comment section.

In a separate Instagram post, Francis said the OVP’s E-Konsulta program helped him recover from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). As such, he wanted to personally thank Robredo.

“I thought of so many ways how I can ‘personally’ thank Mam Leni Robredo. I made masks, hats, tied ribbons, donated, supported fund drives but there was ‘meron pang pwede (there could be more ways),’” he said in a post.

Then came the idea from Alejandro, who suggested that his illustration of Robredo be turned into a doll.

“I made my version. Went further and made a ‘dress me up’ version with 4 of the Vice President's outfit. As an ABSCBN Production Designer and a fashion fan I guess my mini project encapsulates all these,” he said.

Francis said the dolls are his humble "thank you gift" for all of Robredo’s hard work, most especially during the pandemic. “I needed to say my thank you to the last man standing. A woman in pink!" he added.
