Claudine Barretto removes post featuring Rico Yan's love letter

The supposed handwritten letter of Rico Yan to Claudine Barretto is no longer available on social media.

It seems Claudine got fed up with some netizens questioning the authenticity of the letter.

Note that in there, the numbers “09798” were written, seemingly indicating the date September 7, 1998.

The message read: “Hunny, Just wanted you to know that you are the Best thing that has happened in my life. You Are My Life! While i watch you sleep i cant believe your mine. Thank You For Being my ROCK! and Hunny “YOU ROCK” I Love You Very Much Hunny.”

But some online users commented: “1998 pa ang sulat pero mukhang bago pa din ang papel at parang ngayon lang isinulat. Hindi naluma."

Others accused Claudine of writing the letter herself.

Claudine pointed out it’s not her penmanship.

She insisted it was really from Rico.
