Chae Soo Bin and Minho team up for Netflix's fashion drama 'The Fabulous'

SHINEE’s Choi Minho and Chae Soo Bin have signed up to lead Netflix’s upcoming original drama entitled “The Fabulous.”

According to a statement of Netflix, the two stars have been confirmed to headline “The Fabulous,” which will center around the struggles of young men and women who are trying to make it in Seoul’s fashion industry.

"We've confirmed the production of the new series 'The Fabulous'. Chae Soo Bin and Minho will be starring in it," the statement said.

Minho has been tapped to play the role of Ji Woo Min, a skilled freelance photographer who lacks passion for his work. Meanwhile, Chae Soo Bin will play the role of PR manager Pyo Ji Eun, who specializes in luxury brands and has dreamed of being part of the fashion industry her whole life.

Since being discharged from the military, Minho has kept himself busy with a comeback for SHINEE, as well as acting projects including Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won’s “Lovestruck in the City”, and “Yumi’s Cells” opposite Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun. Chae Soo Bin, who last appeared in the drama “A Piece of Your Mind” with Jung Hae In and the Netflix original “Sweet and Sour” with Jang Ki Yong, also has several projects lined up such as “Rookies” for Disney+, and “The Pirates 2” opposite Lee Kwang Soo, Kwon Sang Woo, Han Hyo Joo, Kang Ha Neul, Kim Seung Oh and EXO’s Sehun.

“The Fabulous” is expected to release sometime in 2022.
