Kelsey Merritt to return to PH

Filipina-American Supermodel Kelsey Merritt is coming home.

She confirmed the news herself, announcing it on Instagram.

"So excited because I booked my flight home to the Philippines in a few weeks !! I’m coming home," she wrote as caption to a throwback picture of her in Boracay Island.

Recall that Kelsey has been living abroad for quite some time now following her historical Victoria's Secret Fashion Show stint in 2018.

Note that the then-22-year-old model is considered the first-ever Filipina Victoria’s Secret angel.

Anyway, after that milestone, Kelsey was featured by Vogue in their "Beauty Secrets" series, joining the likes of Rihanna, Victoria Beckham, Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel, Ashley Graham, and Kendall Jenner.

Early this year, the first Filipina to feature on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, made an appearance on the same magazine and for the third time.

Kelsey, who was born and raised in Pampanga, started her modeling career at age 15.

Then, when she was 17, Kelsey got an e-mail from a modeling agency based in New York.

And the rest is history.
