Arwind Santos vows to help Robert Bolick, NorthPort win first PBA title

Arwind Santos will look to help fulfill the ultimate wish of new teammate Robert Bolick to give NorthPort its first PBA championship.
Santos said he’s hopeful that he and Bolick can make that dream a reality as the veteran cager joins a young squad after winning nine championships in 12 seasons with San Miguel Beer.
“Nagkausap kami at ang sabi niya sa akin, ‘Kuya, ako wala na akong pakialam, basta ang importante sana mag-champion tayo at gumawa tayo ng history na sana tayong mga player, mag-champion,’ At ang sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Sana basta kasama ako dyan,’” Santos said in One Sports’ program The Game.
Bolick has become NorthPort’s main man following a PBA Philippine Cup campaign where he has shown the capability of becoming one of the league’s top stars.
But NorthPort was booted out in the quarterfinals by Santos and San Miguel, which swept the best-of-three series.
Santos is impressed with Bolick, since the former San Beda star has a knack for giving plenty of problems against SMB.
Now, he’s glad to be on the same team with Bolick.
