2 robbery suspects who took cash vault caught through CCTV footage

TACLOBAN CITY - Two robbery suspects who carted away a safety vault from an agrivet store here were arrested during a hot pursuit operation on Wednesday (Nov. 17).

P/Maj. Winrich Laya Lim identified the suspects as John Abrick Pagaduan, 27, and Jeric Lacambra, 19, both residents of the city.

Initial investigation disclosed that the suspects robbed DOFOX Fliers and Agrivet Supplies located on P. Burgos Street here.

The suspects were caught on CCTV footage casually carrying a cash vault containing around P99,000 and several checks.

The cash vault was recovered with the remaining amount of P46,500, and a brand new cellphone with a receipt.

The suspects, together with the pieces of evidence recovered, were brought to Abucay Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
