PRO-7 vows support to new PNP Chief’s program

CEBU CITY — The Police Regional Office-Central Visayas (PRO 7) vowed to fully support the four-point program of Police Gen. Dionardo Carlos, the newly installed chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The four-point action program of the 27th chief of the PNP is anchored on the principle of transparency, accountability, and active participation of the community and stakeholders.

“This is in support of the campaigns against illegal drugs, corruption, insurgency, terrorism, and the dismantling of private armed groups come the national elections in May 2022,” said PRO 7 regional director Police Brig. Gen. Eduardo Vega.

Vega said that under Carlo’s watch, the PRO 7 will further enhance the Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP) and strengthen and Area Police Commands (APCs) in close coordination with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and other law enforcement agencies.

Vega added that the PRO 7 will ensure the continuity of the policies, programs and projects of Carlos’ predecessors.

"I and the 11,330 strong men and women of Police Regional Office 7 fully support Chief PNP's mandate to serve and protect our countrymen with a full and sincere heart for service,” said Vega.
