PH Red Cross 'Bakuna' Center opens walk-in vaccination for adults

The Philippine Red Cross has opened its EDSA Boni Bakuna Center this week for walk-in adult vaccinations, the organization announced on Wednesday, Nov. 17.

In a statement, the PRC said that the move was done as they continue to help ensure the protection of every Filipino against COVID-19.
"Hindi kami titigil sa pagbabakuna upang matupad ang aming tungkulin na tumulong na maabot ang herd immunity (We will not stop vaccinating in order to fulfill our goal of helping achieve herd immunity)," PRC Chairman and CEO Senator Dick Gordon said.
PRC volunteers and staff are ready to vaccinate walk-in clients with Sinovac and AstraZeneca. Operating hours are every Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Before proceeding to the Bakuna Centers, those interested must register first at prcvax.dashlabs.app. After completing the online form, they must present their QR Code in front of the PRC EDSA Boni Bakuna Center. Everyone is reminded to bring a valid ID and ballpen, wear face masks and keep practicing proper protocols to help prevent the spread of the virus "Magpabakuna upang maging ligtas ang iyong pamilya laban sa COVID-19 (Get vaccinated to protect your family from COVID-19," Gordon said.
