Dinoy was shot several times in his apartment located at Mother Ignacia St., Poblacion Uno, Bansalan, Davao del Sur.
He was a reporter for online news platform Newsline Philippines and an anchor of Energy News FM in Digos City.
The other suspect who was the driver of the motorcycle during the attack against Dinoy is yet to be identified.
Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS) Executive Director Usec. Joel Sy Egco said "the Task Force is officially declaring the Dinoy murder case as not related to his work as a journalist."
