Marcos vows to work with Sara in enriching Duterte legacy

Presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. vows to work with Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio in enriching the legacy of her father outgoing President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

In a statement released to media Tuesday night, November 16, the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer said that he will work with Duterte-Carpio to continue and extend the great achievements that the Duterte administration has accomplished.

I have moved pass the process for the much sought partnership that our supporters want – the BBM-SARA for 2022)," Marcos said.

(We both agreed as well as our parties to advance a unified leadership if we are fortunate to win in the coming May 9, 2022 election)

The former lawmaker added that he and Duterte-Carpio will work together to continue the Duterte legacy and call on the people to trust and support the leadership of the President.

In our purpose to continue and extend the great achievements of the Duterte government we are now both calling on everyone to trust and support our beloved President)," the former Ilocos Norte governor said.

I'm united with Inday Sara when she said that we are one in our dreams of having a stable, more peaceful and more advanced nation).”

Marcos issued the statement after Duterte-Carpio released a video on her Facebook account, calling on all her father’s allies to come together and ensure that all the breakthrough achievements accomplished under her father’s administration be preserved and sustained should they win in the May 2022 polls.

Duterte-Carpio made the same call to her father’s allies affiliated with the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) in her FB address Tuesday night, Nov. 16. (Melvin Sarangay)
