Manila Bulletin's Christmas 2020 - Pasko ng Pagasa is one of the finalists under the Best Digital Ad - Public Service.

The Pasko ng Pagasa's main message is that Christmas can still be a source of hope for Filipinos despite the hardships, especially in this time of pandemic.

“The concept is entitled ‘Pasko ng Pag-Asa (A Christmas of Hope).’ We were all affected by the pandemic including our company, so this (video) shows that we’re here with you in good times and in bad times,” said video producer Johndel Semilla, writer and creator of the video.

“MB stood by its pledge of service during this time of pandemic, to inform, inspire, and empower. And also, to give hope that there will always be a happy ending to every story,” he added.

Also nominated was Alvin Kasiban's Eased Restriction under the Best News Photograph category.

Fr. Bel San Luis SVD's World Alive and Fr. Rolando V. Dela Rosa O.P's Through Untrue were also nominated under the Best Opinion Column category.

Earning the Best Editorial Cartoon nomination was Roni Santiago's Maundy Thursday; The Power of Servant Leadership.
