The Bulacan Crime Laboratory Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) gathered 24 urine samples from police commissioned officers (PCO) to test for the usage of widely misused controlled drugs including methamphetamines and marijuana. Those who will test positive for illegal drug use will be subjected to appropriate disciplinary action. A confirmation drug test will also be conducted.

Col. Manuel M. Lukban Jr., Bulacan police director, said disciplinary procedures such as reprimands, limitations, community service, suspensions, demotions, and pay forfeitures will be meted on the rogue police personnel.

The Bulacan police vowed to implement reforms, conduct surprise inspections, and random drug testing on all its personnel to ensure efficient service to the public in adherence to the orders of Brig. Gen. Matthew Bacay, regional director of PNP Region 3, to cleanse the police ranks of "rotten eggs."
