Bong Revilla offers Lakas-CMD chair post to Sara Duterte

Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. offered the chairmanship of Lakas–CMD (Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats) to Davao City Mayor and vice-presidential candidate Sara Duterte.

"I have full trust and confidence in Mayor Sara Duterte's leadership. I believe that she will steer the Party towards victory in 2022," Revilla wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday (Nov. 17).

"In full support of Mayor Sara Duterte's candidacy for Vice President, I am offering her my post as Chairman of Lakas-CMD."

The presidential daughter took her oath as a member of Lakas–CMD in Cavite on November 11, the same day she and presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. served as principal sponsors during the wedding of Revilla's daughter, Gianna, to beau Jed Patricio.
