Pasay City gov't offers livelihood training to 75 residents

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said 75 city residents joined the livelihood training on shielded metal arc welding offered by the local government on Nov. 15.

Rubiano said the participants in the livelihood training were given P6,400 allowance.

She said the training on shielded metal arc welding was given by the Duay Calixto Training Center which was established by her late father, Eduardo “Duay” Calixto, who once served the city as officer-in-charge mayor.

The mayor said the center offers different livelihood training to residents who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rubiano said giving livelihood training to residents was also part of her HELP (Healthcare and housing, education, Economic growth and environment; Livelihood and lifestyle, Palengke (market) and peace and order) agenda.
