The Paranaque City government is allowing Christmas bazaars, tiangges, and pop-up stores to operate under Alert Level 2.
Mayor Edwin Olivarez said organizers of Christmas bazaars, tiangges, and pop-up stores must secure Mayor’s permit.
Olivarez said traders, salespersons, exhibitors, organizers, and their employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
He also said the city allows 50 percent capacity for indoors and customers must be fully vaccinated.
The mayor said Christmas bazaars, tiangges, and pop-up stores are allowed at 70 percent outdoor capacity regardless of the vaccination status of the customers. He reminded patrons to strictly follow the basic health protocols.
Olivarez said the city also allows organized and unorganized contact sport at 50 percent venue capacity for indoor, and 70 percent for outdoor.
He said for organized sport, a Mayor’s permit is needed, while for the unorganized sport, there should be supervision from the barangay.
The mayor said the city government requires full vaccination for the players and spectators.
