Marcos tops ‘Kalye Survey’ in Cebu; Pacquiao a far second

Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) presidential bet Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. took the top spot in the presidential survey in Cebu, based on a 16-part Kalye Surveys conducted by one of Cebu’s top local vloggers.

The former senator remains as the consistent top choice in the surveys conducted by vlogger Isla de Olango and his wife in different cities and municipalities in Cebu from October 14 to November 11.

Marcos emerged on top with a total of 754 votes, followed by Senator Manny Pacquiao with 210 votes and Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko" Moreno with 121 votes which was good for third place.

Vice President Leni Robredo (103), Senators Panfilo "Ping" Lacson (29) and Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa (29) took the next three spots in the same survey. The 'undecided' respondents totaled 357.

“Marcos, da best!” a truck driver said when asked during the Kalye survey to explain his preference, while another said, “Ang Pilipinas mabubuhay ‘pag kay Marcos.”

The comments left by the vlogger’s subscribers on their page also reflected the results of the vlogs, with most of them saying that Marcos was the preferred presidential candidate in Cebu.

“Yes, solid BBM from Cebu n Mindanao...wala ng iba! (Yes, solid BBM from Cebu and Mindanao...No one else)” a lady subscriber said, while another comment said, “BBM, ang kandidatong hindi naninira at d kailangang manira para manalo. May magandang plataporma at sapat ang karanasan, kakayahan at kahandaan upang iahon ang mga Pilipino sa kahirapan tungo sa isang progresibo, matatag at higit nating ikararangal na Pilipinas (BBM, the candidate who won't slander and doesn't need to slander anyone to win. He has a good platform and sufficient experience, ability and readiness to help Filipinos to rise up from poverty towards a progressive, steady and honorable Philippines).” (Melvin Sarangay)
