K-pop groups will embark on tours and concerts, and overseas performances as coronavirus disease (COVID-19) restrictions have been eased owing to decreasing number of cases and vaccination rollouts in many countries including the US.
These include BTS, NCT 127, TWICE, ATEEZ, Monsta X and Verivery, which have announced their upcoming overseas performances this year and early next year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that hit the world last year, concerts were not allowed.
BTS will hold the “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage-LA” at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Nov. 27 and 28, and Dec. 1 and 2.
This will be their first in-person concert in two years since the “2019 BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself The Final” that was held on Oct. 26, 27 and 29, 2019 in Seoul.
On the other hand, NCT 127 will hold a three-day concert in Seoul in December. Their "NCT 127 2nd Tour: Neo City: Seoul-The Link” will be held on Dec. 17 to 19 at Gocheock Sky Dome in Seoul. The Dec. 19 concert will live streamed.
This will kick off NCT 127’s world tour. According to SM Entertainment, "Following its Seoul concert, NCT 127 is set to perform in other major cities around the globe," the Korea Times reported.
K-pop girl group TWICE also announced their fourth world tour “III.” It will kick off on Dec. 24, 25 and 26 at Olympic Park KSPO Dome in Seoul.
They will hold the tour in the US starting on Feb. 16, 2022 at The Forum in Los Angeles followed by Oakland Arena in Oakland on Feb. 18, Dickies Arena in Dallas on Feb. 22, State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Feb. 24 and UBS Arena in New York on Feb. 26.
K-pop boy band Monsta X will perform at the “Jingle Ball” tour in the US on the following dates: Dec. 13 in Philadelphia, Dec. 14 in Washington, D.C., Dec. 16 in Atlanta and Dec. 19 in Miami. BTS will also perform at “Jingle Ball” tour on Dec. 3 in Los Angeles.
Rookie K-pop boy band Verivery will hold their first US tour next month. They announced that their “2021 Verivery 1st Tour in US” will be held on Dec. 5 at The Vermont in Los Angeles, Dec. 6 at Marque Theatre in Tempe, Dec. 9 at South Side Music Hall in Dallas, Dec. 10 at Warehouse Live in Houston, Dec. 12 at Red Flag in St. Louis, Dec. 15 at Pieres in Fort Wayne, Dec. 17 at The Agora Theatre & Ballroom in Cleveland, Dec. 19 at HMAC in Harrisburg and Dec. 20 at Sony Hall in New York.
K-pop boy band ATEEZ will have their world tour “The Fellowship: Beginning of the End” starting in January in Korea, US and Europe.
Here are the dates of their concerts: Jan. 7-9, 2022, Olympic Hall, Seoul; Jan. 18, Wintrust Arena, Chicago; Jan. 20, Gas South Arena, Atlanta; Jan. 24, Prudential Center, Newark; Jan. 27, The Texas Trust CU Theatre at Grand Prairie, Dallas; Jan. 30, The Forum, Los Angeles; Feb. 13, AFAS Live, Amsterdam; Feb. 15, The SSE Arena Wembley, London; Feb. 20, Accor Arena, Paris; Feb. 22, Mercedes-Benz Arena, Berlin; Feb. 24, Torwar, Warsaw; and March 1, Palacio Vistalegre, Madrid.
