Remulla: Basketball now allowed in Cavite; face shield policy up to IATF
CAVITE – Governor Jonvic Remulla said that playing basketball is now allowed in the province under Alert Level 2 from Nov. 15 to 30.
"Pwede na ulit mag-basketball. Pero kailangan fully-vaccinated para makapaglaro (Basketball is permitted. But players need to be fully-vaccinated)," Remulla wrote in a Facebook post on Monday (Nov. 15)
"Hindi pa klaro ito pero kailangan pa rin ng face shield habang nag-lalaro (It's not yet clear, but face shields are required when playing)," the governor humorously added with a laughing emoticon.
"Abangan na lang ang abiso mula sa IATF (Just wait for the announcement from the Inter‑Agency Task Force)."
Remulla, meanwhile, said he would rather not comment about political issues for the meantime.
"Deadma muna tayo sa telenovelang pinamagatang 'politika' ha (We'll ignore the drama called 'politics' for now)," Remulla added.
He said he's currently focusing on vaccination, the resumption of face-to-face classes, and local issues.
