The Mandaluyong City government announced on Monday, Nov. 15, that its city government employees may now get their 13th month pay, including their bonuses and other incentives.
During the city's morning assembly, Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos said that the 13th month pay of all its regular and casual employees is now available, including the bonuses of their job order employees, service contractuals, and barangay health workers (BHWs).
Abalos also gave due recognition to all individuals who have shown incredible dedication in serving the city's residents.
The mayor also reported the latest COVID-19 situation in Mandaluyong together with her husband, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Benhur Abalos.
According to Mayor Abalos, Mandaluyong City has recorded 134 active COVID-19 cases, 25,872 recoveries, and 565 deaths as of Nov. 14.
The City Health Office (CHO) also reported that Mandaluyong has deployed 933,480 vaccines, with 496,889 residents vaccinated with the first dose, and 452,690 who have been fully vaccinated.
"Patuloy pa rin natin pinapaalalahan ang lahat na kahit bumababa na ang kaso ng COVID-19 ay patuloy pa rin tayong mag-ingat at sumunod sa health and safety protocols (I am reminding everyone that even if COVID-19 cases are declining, we must all be careful and always follow the health and safety protocols)," Abalos said.
