Las Pinas COVID-19 cases down to 89

The Las Pinas City government said on Monday, Nov. 15, that COVID-19 cases in the city are down to 89 with only seven out of 20 barangays still with active cases.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the seven remaining barangays with active cases are Pulanglupa Dos with three cases, followed by Manuyo Dos, Talon Uno, talon Dos with two cases each, and Pilar, Zapote and Talon Tres with one case each.

The remaining 13 barangays with zero cases of COVID-19 were told to strictly follow the basic health protocols and residents who are still unvaccinated to avail of the free vaccines being offered by the city government.

Aguilar said based on the report submitted by the City Health Office (CHO), from the 89 actives cases, 12 were new cases as of Nov. 14.

She said for the vaccinated individuals in the city, the city government already recorded a total of 916, 855 who received their vaccines against COVID-19.

The mayor said the CHO recorded a total of 487,469 that were vaccinated with the first dose, which is equivalent to 109.0 percent of the 70 percent target population.

Aguilar said a total of 438,262 or about 98 percent of the target population have been fully vaccinated.
