Kim Atienza denies throwing shade at 'It's Showtime'

"I love my showtime family and will never say anything bad about them."

This is what weather anchor and TV host Kim Atienza wrote on Twitter, defending himself following accusations he threw shade towards his former show on social media.

His statement in full: "I didn't mean anything negative w my comment. Being a friend of Direk Bobet, I know how difficult it is to direct a live show. Masakit talaga sa ulo, multitasking w a skeleton crew etc. I love my showtime family and will never say anything bad about them. Be safe everyone."

Recall that many netizens put malice on Kim's comment on Camille Prats’ post congratulatingr her brother, John Prats, who was recently introduced as one of "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" directors.

Kim wrote: “Nothing is an accident mars Camille. (smiley face emoji) Galing ni Lord no? Iniwas siya sa sakit ng ulo. (smiley face emoji)”

Some online users believe Kim's cryptic comment is about his former show "It's Showtime."

Recall that last July John took on directing “It’s Showtime” following Bobet Vidanes’ sudden departure.
