The Department of Health (DOH) on Monday, Nov. 15, reported 1,547 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country.

This brought the active cases nationwide to 27,025. Of those who were infected, 61 percent have mild symptoms, 5.9 percent were asymptomatic, 17.59 percent were in moderate condition, 4.6 percent were in critical condition, and 10.8 percent have severe symptoms.
A total of 128 patients succumbed to the viral disease, taking the death toll to 45,709. This included the 109 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries but were later reclassified as deaths after final validation.
Meanwhile, 2,601 more patients recovered from the disease, pushing the total nationwide recoveries to 2,745,777.
The latest count of cases in the country is at 2,828,511.
It was also reported that 16 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 12 were recoveries.
