Apo ng Santay, anak ng Danilo: Delivery parcel with unusual address goes viral

ALFONSO, Cavite – Do you find it inconvenient when couriers call you for directions every time they deliver a parcel? A shopper, who also happens to be a rider, came up with a personal solution.

Instead of a house number and a street name, 22-year-old John Christian Alcazar uses an unusual address in his online shopping account: Malapit sa kurbada, apo ng Santay, anak ng Danilo, medyo pogi at sobrang cute, Alfonso, Cavite (Near the curve, grandchild of Santay, child of Danilo, a little handsome and very cute, Alfonso, Cavite).

Alcazar, who also delivers parcels for a living, knows just how hard it can be to find certain locations.

"Kailangan namin tawagan, minsan po 'yun ang nagpapahirap sa'ming mga rider (We need to call the recipients, and sometimes, it can get difficult for us riders)," he told the Manila Bulletin.

According to Alcazar, his unusual description makes it easier for courier riders to find his home because there is only one curve in their barangay and almost everyone in their community knows his grandmother Santay (Crisanta) and father Danilo.

"Ginawa ko pong kaaliw-aliw, dinagdagan ko lang po ng 'medyo pogi at sobrang cute' (I made it entertaining, I only added 'a little handsome and very cute')," Alcazar shared. "Madali naman po ako nahahanap at natutuwa pa nga po ang rider (They easily find me and it also gives them a good laugh)."
