The iconic globe at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City

Mall goers woke up to shocking news that the iconic Globe at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City has gone missing.

In a statement, the management of MOA said they are working with authorities in investigating the incident.

"SM Mall of Asia is currently working with authorities in investigating the MOA Globe incident. With our security measures in place, rest assured that the SM Mall of Asia continues to be a safe space for our family and friends," the statement read.

Many netizens believe that the iconic Globe was pulled up by a helicopter.

But some netizens assumed that it is only a gimmick, saying that the iconic Globe will be replaced by a big ball featuring a popular brand.
