Actress-singer Donnalyn Bartolome went out of her way to confirm if the heist at the SM Mall of Asia really happened.
On her YouTube Channel, Donnalyn went live around 4 a.m. today, Nov. 14, as she drove to the MOA to confirm the trending news.
"I-che-check natin kung talagang nawala yung MOA Globe. Gusto mo makita di ba? Anong nangyari? Ano tong MOA heist na to? Talaga bang nawala yung MOA globe? What the h*ck? Paano siya nawala, ang laki-laki nun!," Donnalyn said.
Upon arrival, Donnalyn commented: "Oh my god, wala nga! Wala nga... What's going on?... How are we sure na wala talaga? Tinatago lang ata nila?"
Donnalyn took note of the viral video that showed a helicopter pulling up the iconic globe of SM Mall of Asia.

Meanwhile, other local stars reacted to the trending news.
Actor-singer Jerald Napoles quipped: "Nawawala yung GLOBE sa MOA !! Ang SMART nung kumuha."
Musician JK Labajo wrote on Facebook: "SMART SAAN NYO NILAGAY YUNG GLOBE NG MOA????"
The two stars are seemingly playing the words globe and smarts, which coincidentally are the respective brand names of major mobile network operators in the country.
On the other hand, after the said incident, the management of MOA released a statement.
“SM Mall of Asia is currently working with authorities in investigating the MOA Globe incident. With our security measures in place, rest assured that the SM Mall of Asia continues to be a safe space for our family and friends,” it read.
