Lift has been rumored to be on his way out of TNC especially after reports of the acquisition of former Cerebrum Esports head tactician Vrendon “Vrendon” Lin on Friday.

“Thank you Coach Lift for empowering our players during your time with TNC. Your invaluable lessons will always remain with us. Keep rising up for your dreams, Coach. We wish you the best on your future career!,” said TNC in an announcement.

Lift’s departure capped the busy week for TNC which has also released some of its key players in former captain and roaming Dylan “Light” Catipon and mid laner Patrick “P-GOD” Ibarra along with veteran Douglas “ImbaDeejay” Astibe last Monday.

TNC, however, has yet to make an official announcement regarding the hiring of Vrendon as the new coach. In a short message to Manila Bulletin, Saturday morning, the team neither confirm nor deny Vrendon’s appointment.

“We can’t confirm anything yet. Please wait for our official announcement. Thank you,” said TNC in a short message.

With Lift’s departure, Daniel “Chuuu” Chu, Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico, Clarense “Kousei” Guzman were the only members left for Work Auster Force team which took the MPL Philippines by storm in Season 7.

TNC acquired the team and has since added new faces in now incoming sophomores Landher “Der” San Gabriel, and Ben “Benthings” Maglaque and and veteran Adrian “Toshi” Bacallo during the Season 8.

TNC was coming off a frustrating finish in MPL S8, only mustering four victories in 14 matches. The team failed to qualify to the playoff and finished dead last in the regular season.
