The whirlwind of election-related events Saturday, Nov. 13 didn't go unnoticed on the part of Vice President Leni Robredo.

But a long analysis, she did not give; instead, the opposition leader took to Twitter Saturday night to tell her supporters to keep their collective calm.
"Dami nangyayari (A lot of things are happening)," Robredo wrote. As if to describe the topsy-turvy nature of the day's events, she added an emoji of a person doing a cartwheel.
"Pero gaya ni Mareng Taylor: I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling ‘22 Chill lang tayo (But like what Mareng Taylor said: I don't know about you, but I'm feeling '22. Let's stay chill)," she said.
Robredo, a presidential aspirant, was obviously referring to next year, 2022, when the next national elections will take place. She simply played it off the title of Taylor Swift's song, "22."
To further illustrate her mood, Robredo posted the tweet along with a 34-second video clip of her dancing with her "kakapinks" to the tune of the same song.

Part of the lyrics of the song says, "I don't know about you/ But I'm feeling 22/ Everything will be alright if/ You keep me next to you."
Earlier Saturday, the camp of presidential daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) for vice president next year before the Commission on Elections (Comelec). This was preceded by her shock transfer to the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) just two days earlier.
Also on Saturday, President Duterte accompanied his longtime aid and friend, Senator Christopher "Bong" Go at Comelec as the latter filed his COC for president under the ruling Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).
But these filings were dwarfed by Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar's announcement that the elder Duterte will file his COC for vice president on Monday, Nov. 15, right on the deadline for poll substitutions.
If this comes to fruition, then the father and daughter will be on a collision course for the country's second highest post in May 2022--something that political pundits have not foreseen.
Robredo has repeatedly said that she prefers to focus on her own election bid instead of worrying about what the other poll hopefuls are doing.
