Did you know that Vice President Leni Robredo's 2022 election color was supposed to be blue and not pink?

This was bared by the presidential aspirant herself on Saturday,, Nov. 13, during a radio interview with Cebu's DYHP 612 RMN station.

"Actually, ang feng shui ko, blue. Pero iyong araw na maga-announce ako, naka-blue ako. Pati mga anak ko, naka-blue (My feng shui suggested blue. But on the day that I announced my bid, I wore blue. Even my daughters wore blue)," she told the radio anchor.

And then Robredo saw the tidal wave of pink imagery that her supporters brought.

"Ang daming mga supporters na pumunta sa office, naka-pink. So kami iyong sumunod. Kami iyong nag-adjust. Parang iyong pink, naging symbol siya ng volunteers (A lot of the supporters who went to our office wore pink. So we're the ones who followed. We adjusted. Pink became the symbol of the volunteers)," she noted.

Over in social media, pro-Robredo netizens' profile pictures and avatars are proudly pink, and they also religiously post anything pink during "Kakampink Wednesday".

Feng shui, also known as Chinese geomancy, is defined by Wikipedia as a pseudoscientific traditional practice originating from ancient China that claims to use energy forces to harmonize individuals with their surrounding environment.

It is commonly used by Filipino believers to direct good luck toward them or whatever venture they may have.

In the case of Robredo's election color, she ultimately chose spontaneity over feng shui. Now it's up to her "kakampinks" to prove that she made a good decision come May 2022.
