Jennylyn Mercado recently revealed the reason why her show "Love. Die. Repeat" was put on hold.
Via her latest vlog, Jennylyn explained it was because she actually found out about her pregnancy during lock-in taping.
She already had an inkling about it, noting how at the time she was emotional and sensitive that even the smallest thing makes her mad.
The actress shared she would also cry for no certain reason.
"Familiar yung pakiramdam," was how she put it.
Recall that Jennylyn already has a son with former partner, Patrick Garcia.
Anyway, upon confirming that she's pregnant, Jennylyn started feeling anxious about her welfare.
She and boyfriend Dennis Trillo decided to keep the good news to themselves first.
However, her character in the show requires lots of action and emotionally draining.
Jennylyn decided to finally tell her pregnancy to the show's executive producer and director.
During that time, she was experiencing morning sickness already.
"Nahihilo ako, nagsusuka na ako, sinisikmura ako," Jennylyn vividly recalled.
She was then allowed to leave the lock-in taping and get a check-up. The Kapuso star was also given a chance to rest for some days.
However, upon her return and doing some scenes, Jennylyn experienced bleeding.
That's when she and Dennis decided that she should stop work on the series.
