Cerebrum announced the departure of Vrendon who previously held the coaching post for its female ML team before he was named as coach of the organization’s male ML team just last week.

“What can we say? We are saddened by your departure but happy because your dream is now a reality! You are where you are right now because of your hard work, patience, and determination! We don't only produce champions, MPL players now we have helped produce an MPL caliber coach/analyst,” said Cerebrum in a post with a photo indicating Vrendon as the new head coach for TNC’s Mobile Legends team.

“Words can’t express how happy we are for you coach! Keep up the good work! Keep pushing for the best! The whole Cerebrum Family will always support you!!!! Nice G!!!!!!,” the post ended.

The fate of its current head coach Laurence “Lift” Ruiz remains uncertain as TNC has yet to make an official announcement regarding the reported coaching change.

Manila Bulletin reached out to TNC Pro-Team but the Esports organization didn't deny nor confirm anything.

"We can't confirm anything yet. Please wait for our official announcement. Thank you," said TNC in a short message.

It’s been a busy week for TNC which also released former captain and roaming Dylan “Light” Catipon and mid laner Patrick “P-GOD” Ibarra along with veteran Douglas “ImbaDeejay” Astibe last week. TNC also opened team and individual tryouts for aspiring pro players this week.

TNC’s move came after an 8th place finish in the MPL Philippines Season 8 where the team only won four times through 14 matches in the regular season.
